As a Sales Specialist (internally called Residency Counselor), you’ll manage the sales process from initial inquiry to move-in. You’ll have the unique advantage of working with qualified inbound leads, making it easier for you to focus on building meaningful relationships and sales momentum. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full sales process from first inquiry to deposit and move-in.
- Engaging prospective residents via phone, email, and in-person tours to build lasting relationships and facilitate the decision-making process.
- Offering personalized guidance to prospects and their families on available living options, services, and the care levels offered at Wisteria.
- Collaborating with marketing and move-in teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead to resident.
- Actively participating in marketing events and contributing to the development of strategies to attract new leads.
- Achieving sales goals and meeting customer contact metrics set by the Marketing Director.
- Documenting all interactions in our CRM to ensure efficient follow-up and organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Sales Success: A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Relationship-Driven Approach: High emotional intelligence is essential. You’ll need to navigate sensitive, emotional decisions with care and empathy, ensuring clients feel supported and confident during what can be a vulnerable time.
- Self-Motivation and Independence: Thrives in a role where you manage your own sales process with discipline and a proactive attitude.
- Strong Communication Skills: Clear, persuasive communication with both individuals and groups.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing a CRM system to manage and track sales activity (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Sales Experience (Senior Living Not Required): At least five years in a high-touch, relationship-driven sales role. Senior living experience is a plus, but not necessary.
